Overview

The report presents the University of Auckland's 2022 contributions to all 17 Sustainable Development Goals through research, teaching, operations, engagement and partnerships. It highlights the launch of a Sustainability Strategy for a sustainable university by 2030 and an accompanying Net Zero Carbon Strategy, including a commitment to halve emissions from work-related air travel, waste and recycling, and energy by 2030 against a 2019 baseline. It also reports the University's 2022 Impact Rankings, including an overall global rank of 6 and rank 4 positions for Zero Hunger and Life on Land.
