Sustainable Development Goals Report

Overview

The report documents the University's 2024 contributions to the SDGs through research, teaching, operations, engagement and partnerships. It reports 868 SDG-related courses out of 2,614 courses offered in 2023, using the Auckland Approach to map teaching and research. Operational highlights include emissions 25% below the 2019 baseline in 2023 and progress toward the Net Zero Carbon Strategy. The University also ranked 13th in the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.
