Overview

The report presents the University of Auckland's 2025 SDG contributions across research, teaching, operations, engagement and partnerships. It reports 2024 operational metrics including 462,117 m3 of campus water used, 2,244 tonnes of total operational waste and 71,262 t CO2e of greenhouse gas emissions, a 13.6% reduction from 2019. It also highlights nearly 97 million kilowatt hours of energy consumed in 2024 and initiatives such as building tuning, accessibility support and the Winter Warmer Clothes Drive. The report closes with 2025 University Impact Rankings, including 28th overall and 14th for SDG 13.
