Overview

The report records a 50.65% reduction in building Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions from the 2005/06 baseline, with 2023/24 emissions of 23,037 tonnes. Waste performance included sending just 0.2% of waste to landfill. The University also expanded its low-emission transport fleet to 44 all-electric vans and eight hybrid electric vehicles, progressing toward a 100% electric road-vehicle fleet by 2026.
