Annual Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes UBC's advances in sustainability across teaching, research, operations and community life. It highlights 925 sustainability-related courses across both campuses, new climate education and research initiatives, and Board-endorsed climate action plans. CAP 2030 provides a pathway to net zero operational emissions by 2035, alongside 2030 reduction targets for operational and extended emissions. The report also documents campus programs addressing energy, water, waste, transportation, biodiversity and climate justice.
