Overview

The report describes the University's 2024/25 carbon footprint of 82,946.5 tonnes, alongside a new Corroun partnership that transferred 100,000 tCO2e of verified carbon credits for unavoidable emissions. It also highlights estate-wide biodiversity progress, with 791 species recorded in 2024–25 and 1,343 native species identified in total. Across research, education, operations and community engagement, the report presents sustainability as an institution-wide programme, including the strategic goal of reaching net zero by 2035.
