Overview

The report describes the company's 2023 progress in renewable energy, waste reduction, sustainability research and governance. The first full year of a 100% renewable energy Power Purchase Agreement supported progress toward the University's Scope 1 and 2 emissions target, while waste initiatives diverted materials and recorded 1,150.18 tonnes sent to landfill. The University also launched a $100 million Horizon Fellowship program, a new Sustainability Major and an expanded Sustainability Program Control Board.
