Overview

The report describes the University's 2024 sustainability and governance activity, including delivery of its first renewable-energy PPA procuring 100 percent renewable energy for most campuses and completion of a Climate Scenario Analysis. It reports combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 82,026 t CO2e for 2023-24 and 1582.25 tonnes of waste managed, with an 18.86 percent recycling rate. The report also highlights modern-slavery due diligence, including eight in-depth risk assessments of high-risk procurement projects and online awareness training completed by more than 18,000 staff.
