Environmental Report

Overview

The report reviews the University of Westminster's 2024/25 environmental performance and progress toward Scope 1 and 2 net zero by 2035 and Scope 1, 2 and 3 net zero by 2050. It reports 100% REGO-backed renewable grid electricity, on-site solar generation, and expanded Scope 3 reporting for water supply and treatment. Total waste is reported as 4239kg CO2e, with zero waste to landfill and 3,981kg of clothes reused. The University also received the EcoCampus Platinum Award and advanced sustainable construction, active travel, biodiversity, and SDG engagement.
