Overview

The report presents the Vaillant Group's S.E.E.D.S. programme and binding sustainability targets through 2020, spanning environment, employees, development and products, and society. Its 2011 key figures include 12,166 employees, 182.1 GWh of total energy consumption, 686,582 m3 of water consumption and 17,569 t of waste. The company joined the UN Global Compact on 24 October 2011 and began engaging suppliers on its principles. Product innovation, site efficiency projects and the ecoPOWER 1.0 sustainability award are also highlighted.
