Overview

The report presents Valmet's 2014 sustainability reporting for the Group under the GRI G4 "in accordance" Core option, with external assurance of selected disclosures. It covers environmental data from 49 foundries, technology centers and workshops and reports 10,464 employees. Reported 2014 KPIs include 17.3 (1000 tCO2) Scope 1 emissions, 67.1 (1000 tCO2) Scope 2 emissions and 40.1 (1,000 t) total waste, while fatalities totaled zero across employees/supervised workers and independent contractors. PricewaterhouseCoopers Oy provided limited assurance under ISAE 3000.
