Overview

The report describes Varner's 2023 sustainability performance across climate, materials, and responsible business conduct. The company reported 286 759 tons of CO2e, with Scope 3 accounting for 261 439 tons, and set 2030 targets for a 50% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 55% reduction in Scope 3 emissions per million NOK of revenue from a 2019 base. Materials progress included 73% preferred fibres and 51% recycled polyester, while Varner continued its International Accord commitments and signed the Pakistan Accord to strengthen supply-chain safety.
