Overview

The report describes Vicinity Centres' FY22 sustainability performance across People, Place and Planet. It reports a public Net Zero Carbon by 2030 target covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions from common mall areas of 32 wholly-owned centres. FY22 environmental disclosures include 4,299 tCO2-e of Scope 1 emissions, 128,126 tCO2-e of Scope 2 emissions, 233,539 tCO2-e of Scope 3 emissions, 641,340 gigajoules of energy use and 40,827 tonnes of waste generated. The report also covers a 1,266-person workforce, community investment and supply-chain human-rights initiatives, with selected sustainability data subject to KPMG limited assurance.
