Overview

The report describes Viscofan's 2024 recovery in profitability, the commissioning of a new casing plant in Thailand and the acquisition of Brasfibra and Master Couros in Brazil. Sustainability initiatives enabled the Group to meet several 2030 targets ahead of schedule, including reductions in Scope 1 and 2 intensity, water withdrawal intensity and accident severity. The Board also approved a Net Zero Plan for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, targeting a 45%-50% absolute reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
