Overview

The report describes Vocento's 2009 performance across print, audiovisual, Internet and other businesses, while highlighting its social commitment. The company says it renewed its Global Compact commitment for the seventh consecutive year and addressed human rights, gender equality, environmental protection and anti-corruption. It also began requiring paper suppliers to provide 80% recycled product and reported an average workforce of 4,622 employees. Social and cultural initiatives included the Vocento Human Values Prize, ABC Solidario Prize and employee training programmes.
