Overview

The report presents Volvo Cars' 2025 sustainability performance under ESRS, including a 31 per cent reduction in CO2 emissions per car, 87 per cent climate-neutral energy in own operations and gross greenhouse gas emissions of 35 million tonnes of CO2. It reports 44,605 employees and describes validated SBTi targets and a net-zero greenhouse gas ambition for 2040. Sustainability governance is assigned overall to the Board, with the Sustainability Statement subject to limited assurance by Deloitte AB.
