Consolidated Sustainability Report

Overview

The report is the VUB Group's first report prepared under CSRD and ESRS and includes EU Taxonomy disclosures. The company conducted a double materiality assessment considering both impacts and financial risks and opportunities. It reported Scope 1 emissions of 948.70 tCO2e, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 2,049.58 tCO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 3,506,887.12 tCO2e, with financed emissions forming the largest reported Scope 3 category. The report also records 3,637 employees at year-end and environmental lending disbursements of EUR 599.2 million to retail and EUR 187.4 million to corporate clients.
