Overview

The report describes Welltower's 2024 sustainability activities across environmental, social, and governance programs, including 268 green building certifications, 115 efficiency measures, 228 sustainability projects, and 41,350 MWh of renewable energy. It reports 154,980 MTCO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 293,945 MTCO2e of location-based Scope 2 emissions, alongside a 28% absolute Scope 1 and 2 reduction goal by 2030 against a 2019 baseline. Social highlights include 685 employees, 8.32 average training hours per employee, and zero work-related employee fatalities. LRQA provided limited assurance over selected GHG and environmental data.
