Overview

The report presents Wendel's first-year CSRD sustainability disclosures for 2024, using a double materiality assessment across investment activities, fully consolidated portfolio companies and parts of the value chain. It reports consolidated gross emissions of 85,343 tCO2e Scope 1, 96,069 tCO2e location-based Scope 2 and 1,640,222 tCO2e location-based Scope 3, alongside a 42% Scope 1 and 2 reduction target for 2030. Wendel states that its SBTi commitments were approved in 2024 and that 96.7% of portfolio-company emissions were covered by SBTi-approved commitments at year-end. The sustainability information was subject to limited assurance by Deloitte and Ernst & Young.
