Overview

The report presents WEPA as a European family business with approximately 4,000 employees and 1.3 bn Euro turnover. In 2020, 40% of fibres were recycled and production-waste recycling reached 74%. It sets a -52% CO2eq reduction target across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 by 2030 and describes climate neutrality by 2040. Water consumption was reported at 2.1 l/kg of sales product, alongside a growing focus on circularity and sustainable water management.
