Overview

The report presents WAF's 2022 sustainability performance across its Burkina Faso mining projects and corporate activities. It highlights a global workforce of 729 employees, 121,371 t CO2-eq of gross Scope 1 emissions, and the first global Scope 3 calculation of 226,945 t CO2-eq. It also details community development, water stewardship, biodiversity, rehabilitation and waste-management initiatives, including more than 20,000 plants grown at Sanbrado.
