Overview

The report describes West's 2017 corporate responsibility priorities across compliance and ethics, philanthropy, diversity, health and safety, environmental sustainability and quality. It reports that the 2020 water and emissions reduction goals had already been achieved, alongside 15 million pounds of waste recycled and a 33% emission-intensity improvement shown for 2017. West joined the UN Global Compact and achieved EcoVadis Gold Standard status, ranking in the top 5% of reporting companies. Philanthropic highlights include over $1.8 million in corporate and foundation giving, nearly $530,000 in team-member giving, and more than 40,000 pounds of food collected.
