Environmental, Social, and Governance Report

Overview

The report is Western Copper and Gold's inaugural ESG report for the 2022-2023 project period. In 2023, the company initiated a materiality assessment that identified 10 priority ESG topics and prioritized nine SDGs. It also obtained approval for an exploration Reclamation and Closure Plan in March 2023. Governance reporting describes Board of Directors oversight of ESG issues, alongside a framework covering transparency, environmental and social performance, and health and safety.
