Overview

The report describes Westgold's inaugural materiality assessment, which prioritised ESG topics including decarbonisation, energy efficiency, mine rehabilitation and community engagement. It reports FY23 Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 169,576 t CO2-e and progress on four hybrid power stations expected to reduce annual emissions by approximately 57,000 tonnes. Safety performance improved, with no fatalities or serious disabling injuries reported.
