Overview

The report describes Westpac's purpose-led sustainability approach across local, national and global impact areas. FY22 highlights include more than 42,000 customers supported by specialist vulnerability teams, 1,300+ jobs created through Westpac Foundation-supported social enterprises, and over $1.9 billion of new lending to climate-change solutions. It reports a 90% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 operational emissions and a 35% target for non-financed Scope 3 supply-chain emissions by 2030. The new Elevate Reconciliation Action Plan also sets a target for Indigenous employees to reach 1.5% by September 2025.
