Overview

The report covers Wharf REIC's 2020 sustainability performance across Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore, representing over 90% of the relevant business operations. It reports achievement of the Group's 12% electricity-reduction target and sets 2030 targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% and electricity intensity by 27% from 2014 levels. The report records 98,963 tonnes CO2e of greenhouse gas emissions, 15,758.29 tonnes of waste generated and no work-related fatalities. Community support included a HK$10 million emergency relief fund and continued Project WeCan activity benefiting more than 75,000 students.
