Overview

The report describes Whitbread's Good Together programme across teams and communities, customer wellbeing, and environmental performance. In 2013/14, the company reported a 32.8% reduction in carbon intensity from its 2009 baseline, 94.6% waste diversion in hotels and restaurants, and 28.2% lower water use from baseline. It also reported 3,000 new jobs, 557 apprenticeships, and responsible sourcing policies covering ten product areas. Corporate Citizenship independently assured selected environmental data under ISAE 3000.
