Sustainability Statement

Overview

The report presents Wiener Stadtwerke's first comprehensive sustainability statement prepared in accordance with ESRS and based on a Group-wide double materiality assessment. The company sets a Group-wide climate-neutrality goal for 2040 and describes decarbonisation actions across energy, mobility and infrastructure. For 2025, it reports gross Scope 1 emissions of 2,326,025 t CO2e, location-based Scope 2 emissions of 73,819 t CO2e and total gross Scope 3 emissions of 3,242,572 t CO2e. The statement also covers detailed workforce, governance, EU Taxonomy and human-rights disclosures.
