Overview

The report describes Wistron's 2012 sustainability performance across its global operations, including 50,275 employees worldwide. Consolidated environmental indicators included 253,930 Ton-CO2e of GHG emissions, 3,693,195 m3 of water consumption and 26,711 tonnes of waste generation. Wistron introduced the ISO 50001 Energy Management System and maintained a 1% annual GHG emission-density reduction plan. The report was independently assured by Bureau Veritas on a reasonable-assurance basis and states that it achieved GRI G3.1 A+ requirements.
