Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report describes WPP's 2004 corporate responsibility activity across marketing ethics, employment, social investment and environmental impacts. It reports a workforce of over 91,000 people, 56% women among total employees and three women on the Board. Energy use in surveyed offices was approximately 43.7 GWh, while extrapolated emissions were around 180,000 tonnes of CO2. Total social investment was GBP13.2 million, comprising GBP10.6 million in pro bono work and GBP2.6 million in donations.
