Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Yakult Group's six material themes, covering climate change, plastics, water, innovation, communities and supply chain management. It sets a Net Zero Carbon goal for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050. For fiscal 2021, the report presents group emissions data including 277,122 t-CO2 of Scope 1 emissions and 325,721 t (tonnes) of Scope 3 emissions. The report also highlights the completion of renewable electricity conversion at all domestic production plants in 2022.
