The report presents Yazıcı Iron & Steel's 2024 ESG performance across its steel mill, rolling mill, ports and auxiliary facilities. The company reports 1,448 personnel, 99% local employment, 1,122,415 tons of recycled scrap iron used to produce billets and sustainable construction steel, and 120,520,448 TRY of environmental-management expenditure. It also reports 117,693 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 2,489,678.70 GJ of total energy consumption, and 18,099 ton of total waste. Planned solar projects in Afyon and Ankara are expected to supply 31% of annual electricity consumption once commissioned.
