Overview

The report covers the Group’s ESG policies, initiatives and performance for FY2016/17 across its Liquid Crystal Displays and Liquid Crystal Display Modules businesses in the PRC. It reports 21,943 tonnes of carbon emissions and 440,913 m3 of water consumption, alongside 31 tonnes of hazardous sludge, 409 tonnes of general waste and 316 tonnes of waste glass. Operational measures include water reclamation, LED lighting, heat recovery and ISO14001 certification. Social disclosures address employee training, health and safety, anti-corruption controls, supply-chain requirements and community education and internship support.
