Overview

The report presents the Group's fifth standalone ESG report for the year ended 31 December 2021, with Board oversight of ESG matters and a dedicated HSE Committee. Environmental disclosures cover three principal plants and report 2021 Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 2,705 and 323,819 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent, alongside energy, water and waste data. Social highlights include the "Home is" community programme, 3,541 employees, and zero work-related fatalities during the year. The Group also mapped key initiatives to five SDGs and conducted climate-risk training and preliminary scenario analysis with reference to TCFD recommendations.
