Overview

The report describes Yokohama Rubber Group's FY2012 CSR activities across environmental management, people, products and communities. It reports 19,412 consolidated employees and JPY 559,700 million in consolidated net sales, while applying the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact as Group action guidelines. Environmental results include a 15.9% reduction in domestic-group greenhouse-gas emissions compared with the base year and 8.25 million m3 of water intake. The Forever Forest project had planted about 280,000 trees by the end of fiscal 2012 toward a 500,000-tree goal.
