The report is Northern New Energy's first ESG report for 2016. It covers environmental protection and social care from January to December 2016, but limits operational scope to the New Energy Business in Tianjin and one Shanghai restaurant, excluding other restaurants. It describes employment, health and safety, training, labour standards, supply-chain and product responsibility, anti-corruption, and community investment practices. Environmental KPIs are not included; the company says it will assess carbon emissions and set reduction targets in its 2017 work plan.
