Overview

The report describes sustainability as part of new-product approval and identifies five UN Sustainable Development Goals: 3, 5, 11, 12 and 13. It reports a goal to reduce carbon emissions by 40% by 2025 and notes that more than 68% of vehicles sold in business sales in 2021 were rechargeable. In 2021, the bank issued two green bonds totaling SEK 1.1 billion, bringing the green-bond volume to SEK 3.3 billion at year-end, while its green portfolio was reported to contribute to an annual CO2 reduction of 5,400 tonnes. Employee initiatives included twice-weekly fitness sessions and the six-week VFB around the World challenge.
