Overview

The report presents Abbott's 2030 Sustainability Plan across access and affordability, workforce diversity, responsible supply chains, data responsibility and environmental protection. It reports 114,000 global employees and a 30% absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction target by 2030 from a 2018 baseline. In 2023, market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions were 917 in 1,000 Metric Tons CO2e, total waste was 70,160 Metric Tons, and water consumed was 2,360 Megaliters. Selected 2023 environmental and safety data received limited assurance from Apex Companies.
