The report presents Absa Group's 2024 integrated value-creation story across its pan-African banking operations. The company reports R100 billion in sustainable financing achieved in 2024, one year ahead of schedule, including R37.1 billion directed toward climate. It sets a long-term net-zero ambition for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2050 and reports a 0.52% year-on-year reduction in carbon emissions. The workforce comprised 36 779 employees.
