Overview

The report presents Access Bank's 2017 sustainability performance across its workforce, environmental footprint, community investment and responsible banking activities. It reports 3,189 employees, Scope 1 emissions of 28,459.95 tonnes and Scope 2 emissions of 6,470.66 tonnes. The report also describes energy, waste and paper-reduction initiatives and extensive community and financial-inclusion programmes. CSR-in-Action Consulting independently assured the report under a Type 1 moderate-level engagement using AA1000AS and related criteria.
