Overview

The report covers AMD's legacy 2021 operations before the 2022 Xilinx and Pensando acquisitions. It reports 15,503 employees, 108 GWh of total energy use, 27% renewable electricity, 2,892 MTCO2e Scope 1 emissions, 21,733 MTCO2e market-based Scope 2 emissions and 11,563,108 MTCO2e estimated Scope 3 emissions. AMD achieved a 25% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2020 and set a 50% absolute reduction target for 2030. It also reports 455 metric tons of waste, zero fatalities and external limited assurance over Scope 1, Scope 2 and business-air-travel Scope 3 data.
