Overview

The report presents AECI's 2017 integrated financial and sustainability performance across its Group operations. The Group reported 6 522 employees, 2 320 449 GJ of total energy usage, 2 945 905 m3 of water usage and 366 280 tonnes of Scope 1 emissions. It reports one contractor fatality during the year and describes a Zero Harm SHEQ strategy. Selected environmental, health and safety, and employment equity KPIs received limited assurance from KPMG Services (Pty) Ltd.
