Sustainability Report to Stakeholders

The report describes AEGON's 2010 sustainability performance across its global operations, including 27,474 employees at year-end, environmental consumption and emissions data, responsible investment activity and governance. It reports total CO2 emissions of 99,865 metric tons and waste production of 4,418 metric tons. The report also documents AEGON's signatory status to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment and includes a limited external assurance report from Ernst & Young Accountants LLP.
