Sustainability Supplement

The report presents Aegon's 2012 sustainability performance across its business, workforce and environmental operations. It reports 24,407 employees and 88,152 metric tons of CO2 emissions, alongside reductions in energy, water and waste consumption. The report also describes company-wide sustainability governance and a materiality matrix. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance over the integrated 2012 Review and Sustainability Supplement.
