Sustainability Report

The report describes Aegon's sustainability approach, including its commitment to transition the general account portfolio to net-zero by 2050 and its interim climate targets. For operational carbon emissions covering scopes 1 and 2, Aegon reports a 75% reduction against the 2019 baseline in 2024 and retains a 75% reduction target for 2030. The report also sets out Board-led sustainability governance, supported by the Global Sustainability Board and business-level committees. Its sustainability reporting is described as compliant with CSRD in accordance with ESRS and subject to limited assurance.
