Overview

The report describes AIA's 2018 group-wide ESG approach, including GRI Core reporting, UN Global Compact progress, TCFD support and ESG Committee oversight. It reports 22,263 employees, total energy use of 86,593,057 kWh, water use of 242,000 tonnes and total GHG emissions of 55,761 tonnes of CO2e. The report also details responsible investment, community programmes, workforce inclusion and climate-related initiatives, with selected energy and emissions information subject to limited external assurance by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
