Overview

The report presents AIB Group’s strongest-ever financial performance, with profit before tax of €2,394m and return on tangible equity of 25.7%. It reports €11.6bn of green lending since 2019 and increases its Climate Action Fund target to €30bn by 2030. The Group also reports SBTi validation of financed-emissions targets covering 75% of its loan portfolio, alongside net-zero ambitions for its operations and lending portfolio.
