Overview

The report presents AIB Group’s 2023 sustainability agenda across climate and environmental action, societal and workforce progress, and governance. It says its 2023 double-materiality exercise assessed impact and financial materiality. By year-end 2023, AIB reported €11.6bn in green lending since 2019, a 49% reduction in operational emissions since 2019, and 550k customers supported in financial literacy. Its strategy retains net-zero ambitions for own operations by 2030 and financed emissions by 2040, with agriculture by 2050.
