Overview

The report presents AIST's FY2017 research and social and environmental activities, highlighting its decisive contribution to the SI kilogram redefinition and its rare-metal urban-mining research. It reports 109 thousand t-CO2 of greenhouse-gas emissions, 2,223 TJ of energy use and a 2,271 t total in the waste table.
