Annual Report

The report describes Aker BP's 2016 transformation following its merger with BP Norge, which more than doubled production and the number of employees. It reports net production of 118 thousand barrels of oil equivalents per day and first oil from Ivar Aasen on 24 December, delivered on time and within budget. Exploration added 83 mmboe net during the year. The company reported no major spills to the environment.
